Virtual Conversation between the Governor General and Canada’s Chief Science Advisor

Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada, will be holding a virtual conversation between with Dr. Mona Nemer, Canada’s Chief Science Advisor. The conversation will be live-streamed on YouTube on Thursday, May 7, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. EDT (conversation in French) and 11:30 a.m. EDT (conversation in English).
The conversation with Dr. Nemer will focus on the topic of: The importance of research and science advice in times of global pandemic.
Should you have a question for the Governor General or Dr. Nemer, you are invited to submit it by email (rsvp2@gg.ca) no later than 10 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. Please include your hometown along with your question. A list of questions will be compiled and sent to the Governor General and Dr. Nemer for their consideration as they prepare for the conversation. Please note that only pre-submitted questions may be answered on this occasion, although you are welcome to use the live chat to provide comments or feedback during the discussion.
