Timeline for peer review

The Scientific Operations Committee (SOC) encourages investigators to submit their proposals for peer review 3 months in advance of the granting agency deadline. It can take up to 6 weeks for the SOC to review a proposal and send a response. We are able to review submissions in French, however, it may take 2 additional weeks to review. If you are ready to submit your proposal, please use the form at the bottom of this page.

Investigators will receive anonymized copies of the review comments and a letter of endorsement, if the committee agrees it is merited.

Informal review

The SOC hosts research symposia for investigators who have a proposal in development and would like feedback before formal peer review.  These informal review discussions will be conducted via videoconference and participation will be open to all network members. Investigators will have 5-7 minutes to present their proposal and list the areas where they are looking for feedback or present a list of questions to the group and then there will be up to 30 minutes for discussion. A copy of the comments or suggestions will be sent to the presenter within a week of the event.

If you would like to present your proposal at an upcoming symposia, please use the form below and within the comments box please state that you are looking for informal review.

Check out the events page for upcoming sessions to attend.
